I've been to No1. Sushi Bar quite a few times now and the food and service has always been great. I like the tuna sashimi and rice set - very authentic, I've had the same meal at Tsukiji Fish Market and other than paying in £ it's the same.

I tried the chicken teriyaki, which was poorly cooked and seasoned. The green tea was made with a tea bag not leaves and had a horrible tinny flavour. Overall I couldn't recommend the place, though I didn't try the sushi which may have been ok.

Situated right across the road from the Cameo Cinema, this is perfect place for pre-film sushi. (Yes, that's a thing in my world!) The californian roll maki is good and you get more pieces than you do in some other places (yes I'm looking at you places that serve up 4 pieces!). The vegetable or salmon hand rolls are definitely a recommendation. Best of all, you'll still have room for popcorn and a juice at the cinema afterwards!

ironically the sushi here was poor. the food that is served hot however was great.

This is one of those sushi houses being run by some non-Japanese, which in itself shouldn't matter, except that they clearly know nothing about sushi or service (and are just cashing in on the cache). The dumplings tasted starchy and undercooked (we had them taken off the bill). The food was dropped, not placed, on our table. Disappointing.
