Avoid this place at all costs, they have c••kroaches! 3 weeks ago 3 friends were served a dead c••kroach served between the pompadoms. The reaction of the staff was not reassuring, they just offered to reduce the bill by the price of drinks and pompadoms!! I'm appalled. FOOD STANDARDS AGENCY RATING IS;- 0, which means urgent improvement is necessary, how are they still able to operate???

Very, very very good food. We did takeaway, so can't say much about decor and service. Looked very simple but okay.

One of the best curry's in town by far... tried all the lacals and the others just dont cut it; definitely something unique in the way they cook. No compet•tion from bombay bicycle, racing rickshaw or maida vale curry house and a definite must try for anyone local!

Fantastic food! I have eaten at countless Indian restaurants around London over the years but I still regard the Panshi as having the best food (closely followed by Lahore Kebab House, New Tayyab and Clipper). The service isn't the most charming but don't let that put you off as the food is consistently top drawer. If you live within the catchment area then try a take-away, far better than Bombay Bicycle Club etc. The madras and vindaloo aren't the most inspiring but try any other dish, especially the chef's specials like Rezala and Gosht Kahlia. Good value too.
